The strategic objective is the development of a system (named bio@gro) providing to all key actors involved in the OA value chain (organic farmers, agribusinesses and consumers/citizens):
-
a single point of access to accurate and multilingual OA information,
-
e-business related services (business opportunities in terms of business collaboration, Web Presence),
-
mobile services (m-services),
-
e-Advertising services,
-
advanced content search mechanisms,
-
online Submission Forms Mechanisms.
The proposed system will have two important
characteristics:
- Firstly, bio@gro services will be specialized according to different OA
needs in local, regional, national or EU level. They will take into account the
peculiarities, different needs and priories that organic sector presents.
- Secondly, the bio@gro provision service will follow the OA actors'
requirements. More specifically, at the bio@gro eServices System, the
information and e-services offered will be organized and integrated in a
user-focused way, so as to address the OA actors' needs and to cover their exact
requirements. The actors will be able to access the bio@gro services in a
well-structured and clear manner, meeting their needs. The concept of business
situations will be examined as an effective way to present the wide range of
bio@gro services in an understandable and easy to navigate way to actors. It is
worth mentioning that the bio@gro information will be validated by the
certification organization involved in the consortium.
